A moment to reflect on communication change…
Since the rise in what’s called Social Media, people have increasingly been willing to post anything personal with and without remaining anonymous. What I found most interesting in the Geolocation project by conceptual artists Nate Larson and Marni Shindelman is how the combination of a photo image with a tweet instantly can turn a short note into something profound.
Here are a couple examples and the link to the Fast Company article and the artists’ stream. They use GPS data to locate tweets and then add a photographic layer to the 140-character story.
